Das Lied »Deine Reise« stellt die Fragen: Wo geht deine Reise hin und warum bist du hier? Eigentlich ist das die Frage nach dem Sinn des Lebens. Ist alles Zufall oder Schicksal? Wie viel können wir in unserem
Dasein selbst steuern? Oder werden wir gesteuert? Vielleicht sind wir ja tatsächlich nur ein Staubkorn im Universum –
vielleicht aber ja auch nicht. Dieser Song veränderte sich im Laufe der Zeit wohl am stärksten. Die ursprüngliche 4-Spur-Aufnahme habe ich mit
Harmonium im Walzertakt aufgenommen und es ist eher ein ruhiges Stück. So, wie wir das Lied jetzt als Band spielenund aufgenommen haben, ist es ja fast eine Tanznummer. Das schätze ich sehr an den Treffen mit der Band.Ich mag es gerne, wenn die Jungs ihre Vorstellung von einem Lied haben und dann zusammen etwas völlig Neuesentstehen kann.
